Motopark Training Camps Return for 34th Year

Motoparks summer motocross training camps return for their 34th year in 2005.

A record 10 weeks of camps where held last year and the 2005 versions will see record attendance. This is due to the success of the camps and the fact that more students can be accepted per week because of the new restaurant facility and sleeping accommodations at the park.

   
Three specialty weeks in 2005 include our June 13-16 Adults only camp, June 21-23 Racers only camp and August 15-19 Ladies camp.

   
Returning to teach the Racers only camp will be former 2x World Motocross Champion John Van Den Berk from Holland. Motoparks regular line up of instructors will be led by Nick Hill. His line up of instructors include 4x Georgia State Champion Clint Shealy, Former Ontario Motocross and World X Games Snocross Champion Michael Island, Current Canadian Snocross Champion Iain Hayden, and Former Canadian Amatuer Motocross Champion Zeb Dennis along with James Grimstead and Michael Mahoney.

   
A number of successful Motocross careers have started with attendance at our Summer Camps including names like—Doug Dehaan, Chuck Mesley, Michael Island, Ryan Gauld, Dave Gowland, Lino Zecca, Dave Arnold, Bill Wallin, Chris Pomeroy, James Farrington, Chris Tyndall, Chris Lemmon, Jeff Sutherland and Kevin Moore.
