Lange is Back Training
April 18, 2005

Darcy Lange pretty much fell off the radar following the final round of the U.S. Arenacross Series in Columbus, Ohio. Everyone was keeping their eyes peeled for Darcy’s debut in 125 East Coast Supercross but unfortunately he was a no show for the Orlando and Texas rounds where he was expected to make an appearance. Well for all those disappointed fans, there is still a chance you might get to see Darcy race Supercross this year. That’s right—Vegas baby.
On Sunday, April 17, Jeff Williams, his buddy Dennis and I met up with Darcy Lange at an indoor MX track in Seattle, WA. He was out at the facility testing for the Las Vegas Supercross … ok for the mini race. Darcy was there trying a few different BBR KLX110s with tricked out aluminum frames. It was easy to tell that he is the 2005 arenacross champ because I think he still had the fastest lap times out of all the riders that where there, including the big bikes…
Unfortunately it looks like Darcy will not be doing any Canadian Nationals this summer—just some local races while letting his body heal up. If all goes well he will be going to Vegas to race the Mini Moto race. What will he do in his off time? He is about to start taking up golf. Good luck Darcy!
