Whether you're in Moncton, New Brunswick or Nanaimo, British Columbia, the Motovan.com Amateur National Qualifier Series (ANQ) will be the hottest contested regional amateur series in Canada. The ANQ Series began in 1993 and provided all riders from every CMRC region an opportunity to qualify for the Walton TransCan Grand National Championships (Walton GNC).

 
In Walton's early years, a smaller attendance at the GNC proved the qualifiers to be less meaningful as riders enjoyed the benefits of a first-come first-serve program.

 
Presently, representation of Canadian Amateurs from all regions competing at the Walton GNC demonstrates the importance of the Amateur National Qualifier Series.

 
The regional qualifiers have grown in stature and participation, which reflects upon the growing popularity of both the Walton GNC and the Western Canadian Amateur National Championship held in Raymond, Alberta. Over 40 qualifying races take place each year across Canada with thousands of participants vying for a spot on the gate at the each respective amateur national.

 
Before the gate drops for the first moto in your region, make sure you are aware of the respective qualifying dates and the pre-entry procedures.

2005 Regional Amateur National Qualifier Series Schedule

 
Every region in Canada will be running a series of events that serve to qualify top amateur motocross riders to compete in their respective class for both, or either, of the CMRC Canadian amateur championships.

Following are the dates for the regional qualifiers. Riders must participate in at least one qualifier in order to pre-enter. The bracketed number [x] is the number of guaranteed gate positions allocated per region to top qualified riders.

 
Note: Additional regional entries and entries for lower qualified riders will be accepted if allocated positions are not filled. Entry priority is based on qualifier results and entry allocation for each region.
