The Future West crew rolled into Toronto for the first stop of their expanded National series. Some of Canada's best indoor riders were on the line and the racing was awesome. With two-time National AX champ Darcy Lange, 2005 Montreal Supercross winner Colton Facciotti, Kyle Beaton, Brady Sheren, Marco Dube, MX2 East champ Michael Willard and Ontario pros Kyle Keast, Jay Burke, Kyle Thompson, Justin Thompson, Trevor Middleton, there was a huge array of talent on the tight track. While the racing was great, spectator turnout was a bit dismal, not sure if the combination of the perpetually lacking Toronto motorsports crowd and the holiday long-weekend combined but the Future West crew deserved more support than they got. Over two nights of racing, Colton Facciotti picked up two wins while Marco Dube and Kyle Beaton split the other two main event victories. Here are a few photos from the weekend at the Ricoh Coliseum. The series heads to Winnipeg next where the Hellam's are expecting more great racing and a bigger overall turnout. Watch for interviews with Lange and Beaton later this week. There wasn't alot of space to work with but the Future West crew
built a pretty solid AX track with some serious help from Ontario's
Justin Thompson.

The start was really, really short and a good jump was key to the win.

Watching Colton Facciotti ride indoors right now is pretty awe-inspiring.

Ryan Lockhart looked fast and comfortable on his new Suzuki...

...until this whoop section ended his weekend with a knee injury.

MX2 East champ Michael Willard has some indoor skills too.

So does his KTM teammate Marco Dube who won the open final Friday.

BC's Kyle Beaton put it all together for a win in the open final Saturday.

Kyle Thompson leaves the gate in Saturday's qualifying action.

A trio of BC's best made up the open final podium Saturday.

It was great to see Darcy Lange back in action. Lange was
frustrated with his first weekend results and left motivated
to come back stronger in Winnipeg. It won't be long
before the National AX champ picks up a win.
