Machine Racing Yamaha's Chuck Mesley, who had a slow return to racing this year following back surgery, earned a handful of top ten finishes in the MX2 East class and finished 13th overall. Yesterday at a race in Port Perry, Ontario, Mesley was jumping a 150-foot quad jump on a YZ 450F and apparently endoed, resulting in a broken femur.

He is currently in Oshawa General Hospital waiting to have a pin placed in his leg.
