In an effort to earn AMA Pro points to qualify for U.S. Nationals in 2006, Machine Racing Honda's Kyle Keast is racing the four-stroke nationals this fall. So far, his plan is working, as he finished second in both motos of the 450F class for first overall, this past Sunday at the Budds Creek round.
In the 250F class on Saturday, Keast finished fifth in the first moto, but confusion with the race schedule kept him from making the gate for the second moto.
His Yamaha teammate, Chuck Mesley, finished third overall in the 450F class with 7-3 moto scores.
