SuperMoto storms Toronto this weekend, as the second round of the North American SuperMoto series takes place Saturday, August 27. Then on Sunday, August 28 the riders will battle for the SuperMoto Canadian Championship finale. Both races are backed by Red Bull Canada.
The racing takes place on an innovative, custom built course through the streets of downtown Toronto at the Polson Pier, 11 Polson Street.
Top U.S. riders Jeff Ward, Chris Fillmore and Troy Lee will race the events, along with Canadians Steve and Doug Beattie and Dave Arnold.
And the weekend isn’t just limited to SuperMoto, other activities going on throughout the two-day event include: the official H3 Hummer launch, Beach Blast volleyball competition, Ontario Paintball Championships, Million Dollar Hole-in-One qualifying, Globe National Skateboarding Championships, Swimsuit Canada Model search finals and there will be live entertainment all weekend!
Tickets are $10 through TicketBreak and are $20 at the door. Kids under six are free.
SuperMoto practicing and qualifying begins between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. each day and the main event runs from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
