- Cooke made up serious time in the closing laps.
- Lockhart crashed in the back section and tweaked his knee. He looked pretty hurt and we don't know if he'll be back for the second moto or not.
- Montes said his wrist is still sore but that he was feeling the adrenalin of being up there. Despite being back in 8th at one point he said he "found some new lines" and charged back up to 5th. He said he's very happy to have this opportunity and doesn't want to "screw it up!" He's glad to give some good results back to his team at Yamaha.

- Dube dropped out of MX1 Moto 1 and drove into the pits. Don't know why.
- Blair Morgan crashed and bent his levers and made his way back to 13th at race end (Shelley has him in 13th which contradicts what's posted above. I don't know which result is correct at this time)
- Klatt started the first lap outside the top 15 and made his way up to 6th.
- JSR took the lead on lap 5 and checked out a little bit, maintaining a 7 second or so lead on Laughridge until the end. The same gap between Laughridge and Johnson in third.
- The MX2 are staging now for their second moto. Last we heard Lockhart was NOT riding, but we'll wait until the gate drops on that one.
