- Blackfoot's Aron Harvey crashed while leading the first moto and landed on a hay bale, suffering a broken femur. Tough news for the Nevada resident who was on a roll during the western swing. Speedy recovery Aron.
- KTM's Jeff Northrop broke his hand in the first MX1 moto but toughed it out and finished the moto in fourth. He tried to race the second moto but had no strength in his hand and was foced to sit it out. No word yet whether he will be able to race Sand-Del-Lee.
- Simon Homans got a flat tire in the second moto.
- Nick Evennou had bike problems in both motos.
- Despite scoring only four points in the second moto, Eric Nye still leads the MX2 championship by a healthy margin.
