Clearbrook Yamaha's Kyle Beaton has qualified for Washougal's Sunday program. His fastest lap placed him 26th in the field, good enough to put him in the top 35 riders automatically seeded into Sunday's program.

In the second timed practice, Beaton was second fastest in Group B. His time was 2:25.230 which is only five seconds a lap behind Villopoto's fastest lap on a two and a half minute per lap track. If he can get a good start and keep up that pace, he will be scoring points. Very impressive Kyle!
