The Edmonton track is in great shape. The dark loam is not too rough, making for close racing. Aron Harvey grabbed the holeshot and was followed closly by Beaton, Evennou, Medaglia, J. Allison, and Fraser. Beaton was close to Harvey but seemed to drop the anchor. Maier was able to get by Beaton and shortly after Beaton fell. Nye and Lockhart both had bad starts in the moto. PJ Stratton crashed hard early in the moto and had to pull off. He appeared to be okay.

Nye was 30 points ahead of Harvey in the series results but that lead is now down to 21 points.
