Monster Energy/Thor/Leading Edge Kawasaki's Teddy Maier has decided to sit out this weekend due to a leg injury he suffered last weekend at Morden. Maier tried riding practice but the pain was too great, so he's hoping to be back by Nanaimo or Edmonton. Maier was sitting at 88 points in the MX2 standings, just behind the 3-way tie for second between Kyle Beaton, Aron Harvey and Jeremy Medaglia.
