Gopher Dunes Saturday Photo Report

Well, here we are at Round 2 of the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals in Courtland, Ontario, at the infamous Gopher Dunes track. No real breaking news to speak of, other than the fact that we're guaranteed more great racing as several riders, in both classes, looked strong today. Suzuki/OTSFF/Rockstar's Jeremy Medaglia and Leading Edge Kawasaki's Nick Evennou stood out in MX2, while Dusty Klatt, Tyler Medaglia, Tim Tremblay, Mitch Cooke, and Jimmy Nelson caught my attention in MX1 practice. Colton Facciotti didn't ride practice to give his shoulder more time to heal, and Kyle Keast decided not to ride because he says he's spent enough time on the track. Mind Games?

It's best to ignore lap times today as the track will be completely different tomorrow. I had the chance to ride practice, and with many of the sections being ridden on for the first time today, there weren't any lines or berms in some of the corners so it was hard to get a good flow going. Following pro practice, the winds (and rains) of poop attacked the Gopher facility, ripping our
RXC and Destroyer Films canopies right up over our trailer. That was pretty cool.

We're experiencing technical difficulties with the
RXC site, so please visit James Lissimore's Blog right here for photos.
