As Round 1 of the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals just wrapped up in Ste. Julie, Quebec; the teams are moving east for Round 2 at Gopher Dunes.  On Saturday, May 31 CMRC is hosting an Amateur Provincial M-X Race, followed by the Pro National on Sunday, June 1.
 
Lot's of calls are coming in to the Dunes to see if the track is open this week for practice & the answer is 'NO'.  The BIG earth movers are pushing and levelling, building and berming in order to get the tracks in prime National form which takes every daylight hour for our team to accomplish.

Although we just had a big RV rig move in this afternoon all the way from Reno, Nevada 'ready to race' and we're not even open!  There'll be lots of time for them to explore the sights anyway.
 
The Dunes will open once again for practice riding at 4pm on Monday, June 2.

And for the non-competitive bike and quad riders, June 8 is the date to mark on your calendars when the Dunes is hosting it's 'Season Opener Poker Run' in conjunction with Hully Gully.  This is an organized fun day where 'luck of the draw' will win you a prize!   More details to follow....or go to:  www.gopherdunes.com
