The big day is almost here. The Monster Energy Supercross series hits Toronto this Saturday March 29, 2008. Five different riders have won AMA Supercross class main events so far this season (Reed, Stewart, Hill, Millsaps, Windham) and they are all entered and ready to battle it out in Toronto (except Stewart, of course, who is out with an injury). Most of the top Lites riders have elected to skip the race but that could be good news for Canadian fans as a few of our top Canucks are ready for a podium. Do not miss this race!

Here is a list of critical things for this weekend to make sure that you get the most out of your Supercross experience.

Directions:
Directions from outside Toronto: Just 20 minutes by car from Pearson International Airport, Rogers Centre can be reached by taking the 427 south to the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) highway (eastbound) to downtown Toronto. The QEW divides into the Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Blvd. - both of which will take you to Rogers Centre. Take the Spadina Ave exit (north) from the QEW or the Rees St. (north) exit from Lakeshore Blvd. to Rogers Centre. If visiting Toronto via Highway 401 (the MacDonald Cartier Freeway), exit at the Don Valley Parkway southbound to the Gardiner Expressway west to the Spadina Avenue exit (north) to Rogers Centre.


Supercross Tickets:
Tickets are available at Rogers Centre – Gate 7, all Ticketmaster locations, or charge by phone at 416-870-8000. Adult tickets are $40; $30; $20 and all kids tickets are $15.

Saturday Schedule:
Gates open at 12:30 p.m. and racing begins at 7:00 p.m.

Your ticket allows you to come early to watch practice and qualifying beginning at 12:30PM.
Riders will be signing autographs on the concourse from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Racer X / Racer X Canada Supercross Party

Don't forget to slip into The Loose Moose on Friday night between 7 p.m. and 2 a.m. to enjoy some bench racing and cold ones at the Racer X Canada Pre-Race Party. We've hosted a bash every year for the Toronto Supercross. It's always a good time, it's an easy walk from the Rogers Centre and everyone is welcome to come and hang out.
