Round 1 Quebec National SuperMoto Canada National Championship Series
Gran Mere International Kart Track Gran Mere, Quebec
 
The opening round of the Canadian Championship will be taking place at the famous Gran Mere International Kart Track.This will be the first night race of the season with competitors coming from all across Canada, USA and Europe. New riders from the powerful HMC KTM team will be on hand to battle Canadian champions Doug and Steve Beattie, Dave Arnold and crowd favorites Marco Dube and Dominic Beaulac.This is a popular karting track that gets very slick as the sun goes down. Pavement section is an exciting mix of long straights with wide sweeping turns. Catch cans and Peg sliders are a must to protect  the kart track surface. The dirt section will be the longest in the championship at over 25sec with many technical obstacles lit-up by high powered lights for great sight lines.The fun begins at 3pm and racing at approx 4:30pm. Kart rental will also be available before and after the races.  There will be racer special all weekend for $1.00 a minute on the track.Back by popular demand ATV classes. Unlimited and 450 production class will wow the fans with cool power slides and super fast lap times. Watch the first turn, ATV’s are wild.Race format will be: 1. 1 15min practice for all groups2. 1 qualifier each group (last chance heat for all classes running 2 qualifiers)3. 1 final each groupPrizes and trophies will be awarded at the  end of each moto.
