Women's National Photo Report

Calgary featured Round 3 of the Canadian Women's National Series. The series continues in Nanaimo, BC this weekend before taking a few weeks off and seeing the championship wrapped up at Sand Del Lee.

In her first year racing the CMRC Women's National Series, Nova Scotia's Heidi Cooke is the points leader heading to Round 4. Cooke has 144 points to Jolene VanVugt's 127. Cooke won both motos in Calgary.  

 

 

Defending champ Jolene VanVugt knows the title is still within reach. VanVugt has been strong and consistent throughout the series, going 2-4 for second overall in Calgary.  

 

 

Alberta's Jessica Foster holds down third place in the series. She went 4-3 for third overall in Calgary.  

 

 

BC's Missy Hackett has the speed to be on the series podium and currently sits fourth in the series. She went 7-2 for fourth in Calgary.  

 

 

Ontario's Jocelyn Killough sits fifth in the points after a 5-5 ride at Wild Rose.  

 

 

Karly Podznekoff went 6-8 for 7th overall.  

 

 

Saskatchewan's Denaye Giroux is eighth in the series points.  

 

 

Her sister, Amber, is 10th but edged out Denaye in Calgary with 9-10 motos for 9th overall. 

 

 

Manitoba's Ami Houde joined the series in Calgary and made her first appearance on the podium. Houde went 3-6 for fifth overall.  

 

 

BC's Rachel Springman is 13th in the series.  

 

 

Alberta's Malerie Prochnavy, National #2 and last year's Walton champ, made her series debut in Calgary. Prochnavy went 12-20 for 16th overall.  

 

 

Camille Baker is 17th in the series heading to her home track in Nanaimo.
