SixSixOne Photo Report from Hangtown

Look for a full report this week but here are a few early shots to whet your appetite.

Simon Homans made an appearance at Hangtown to warm up for next weekend's Canadian opener in Ste-Julie, Quebec. Unfortunately, Homans didn't make the top-40 grade in timed practice. He finished 6th in the consolation race.

Dusty Klatt qualified easily with the 16th fastest time. We're sure he has some bad memories from Hangtown after not qualifying here with the Blackfoot Honda squad so his most difficult national is behind him. A big crash in the first moto put him well behind the pack but he rebounded in the second moto with an 11th and 10th fastest time in the moto.

Steve Lamson broke out the CR125 complete with retro gear for his hometown national in Sacramento. He posted the 39th fastest qualifying time and 33-30 in the motos.

Michael Willard also used Hangtown as a warm up for Ste-Julie. His 29th fastest qualifying time put him into the program where he finished just outside of the points with a 23-25.

Homans (pictured here) didn't make the grade but his fellow Canadian, Doug DeHaan, scored points in the second MX moto with a 20th. Good job Dougie!

Ryan Villopoto and Jason Lawrence let their tempers flare in practice and ended up with fines and probation. Lawrence had to take the 40th gate pick for both motos.

BC's Howie Spencer lined up for Hangtown before the long trip to Ste-Julie. He finished 18th in the Consolation race.

Brady Sheren will have to wait another year to try and match his Dad's success at Hangtown. Maybe he needs to adopt Rick's forward walk? He finished 7th in the consolation race.
