Track Tested:
During testing I was fortunate enough to have Jay Burke with me, so he and I took turns alternating between the OEM clevis on his CRF450 and Fasst Company’s offering on my CRF450. As promised, and once installed, all play that previously existed in my rear brake pedal was completely eliminated, allowing for Jay and I to agree that we experienced more positive feel and control under braking.
How does this relate to the track you ask? Dragging the rear brake when exiting corners with chop, charging into flat, hard pack corners where you want to slide the rear end around, and entering corners with chop all seemed to be easier and more precise with the Fasst Company Brake Clevis installed.
Final Verdict:
Will it make a difference between winning and losing? Probably not, but it was noticeable and definitely an improvement over the OEM’s setup. Overall, I was very impressed with the quality of not only Fasst Company’s Brake Clevis, but their Rim Lock Spacers too and look forward to reviewing their quality Flexx Handlebars in the near future.
