Canada's lone hope in the Supercross class, Doug DeHaan, couldn't quite get it done at Anaheim 1, just missing a transfer spot in his heat and then falling in the first corner at the start of the LCQ. Hopefully we'll see the number 77 lined up for the start of the main in Phoenix. |

Certainly not how Dusty Klatt hoped his Star Racing debut would go… |

Red Bull KTM's Josh Hansen held third place during the opening laps of the Lites main. He would eventually surrender the podium position to Jason Lawrence but still held on for fourth. |

Josh Hill's supercross debut did not go exactly as planned. The Team Yamaha rider cased a triple extremely hard in his heat and pulled off. He then came back and won his LCQ but crashed over a berm during the main to finish in 19th place. |

Ryan Villopoto lived up to the hype at Anaheim 1. Villopoto took over the lead from his teammate, Christophe Pourcel and never looked back. |

Early in the race, Villopoto leads Pourcel and Hansen. |

Chad Reed dug deep and pulled a holeshot in the main and held on for third. Not bad for a guy riding with a broken shoulder. |

MX2 World Champion, Christophe Pourcel, is the real deal. A holeshot and second place finish in his first supercross. Enough said. |

Brady Sheren's team, Wonder Warthog Racing and the MDK/Lucas Oil/Yamaha team fielded 11 riders for A1. |

The GOAT showed he's still the only rider that can stay in the same time zone as James Stewart. |

Ivan Tedesco(9) and Grant Langston(8) both had rough nights at Anaheim. Tedesco nursed his broken hand to a 14th, while Langston crashed over the finish line jump and suffered a DNF. |

Former Blackfoot Honda rider (and former RXC columnist), Damon Huffman was in attendance. |

Surrogate Canadian, Michael Willard, rode his KTM to 16th in the Lites main. |

Sobe/Samsung Honda's Josh Grant's title hopes were dashed after a practice crash forced him to sit out of the main event. |

If Anaheim 1 was any indication, 2007 is going to be the year of James Stewart. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider was the fastest rider on the track right from the first practice and, despite a hard fall, won the main event with ease. |
