Despite the continued four-day downpour, the Chilliwack Heritage Park was filled to capacity for Saturday night's 4th Round of the West Coast Arenacross Championships. Everyone was curious to see if Dusty Klatt's luck would change for the better or if Kyle Beaton could repeat as the night's champion. The crowd was in for a surprise as things didn't unfold according to expectations. |

Before the main events, a 'Dash For Cash' was organized using a head-to-head format to determine the 2-man final. #65 Kris Foster lined up against #9 Dusty Klatt for the 2-lap dash. Dusty pulled the holeshot and went on to take the estimated $500 pot. Dusty's night was looking better. |

#54 Lee Coutts led the Lites Main for a while, finishing in 7th position by the end of the race. |

#33 Kyle Beaton took the 250F lead after lap two and had a great battle going with #9 Dusty Klatt until he bobbled in the whoops giving the lead to Dusty, who went on to take the win. Kyle later said, "I just slid out. I had no drive for the whoops. I think I was just pushing too hard and Dusty is riding much better tonight." |

Washington State's #246 Kevin Urquhart rode to a well-earned third place finish in the Lites Main. Kevin said, "I got a bad start and I am happy to have worked my way up to third." |

On the #6 Kawasaki, Missy Hackett led her race from start to finish. She rode strong and smooth and was never challenged. |

Always known for his great starts, KTM's #24 Marco Dube proved he still has what it takes to win a final. He led the Open Main until Beaton caught and passed him. Kyle's lead was short lived as he went over the bars in the whoops and finished fourth. On the podium Marco said that the he came to have some fun. |

Brock Hoyer, riding #37 in the Open Main, had a strong night finishing fourth in the Lites Final and third in the Open Final. He now knows what it will take to get to the next level saying, "I'm going to have to quit work because motocross is first!" |

#54 Lee Coutts and Dusty continued their aggressive battle from Friday night except this time they both hit the dirt. Coutts went on to finish eighth while Dusty took a DNF in the Open Main. Dusty was a little scraped up but no major injuries. Better luck down south Dusty, the country is rooting for you. Coutts and Dube also got into it a bit in the Lites Main and Marco ended up getting docked positions for cutting the track. I guess Coutts is Canada's One Punch! |
