Willard rode a blazing fast second moto. His M2R sponsor Rob Goth
told Willard he'd pay him $20 for every second he won by. After
Chisholm had bike problems, Willard pulled a huge lead and Goth made
good on his bet with this stack of 20's. |

Hometown boy Tyler Medaglia put in the ride of his career at SDL.
Medaglia went 3-2 for second overall. He had fans lining the fences,
cheering him on. It was a great day for Medaglia who has battled back
from injury to regain the speed he showed as a promising intermediate. |

Quebec's Tim Tremblay also put in the ride of his career.
Tremblay finished third in the second MX2 moto, battling back from a
bad start. |

Ryan Gauld lost his top Canadian status to Tyler Medaglia but still finished seventh in the series after DNF'ing the last moto. |

The first MX1 moto of the day was this close on the last lap.
Klatt was out front, cruising for a win, when he went down in the back
section. He managed to keep his bike running but JSR caught up and kept
him this close right to the finish line. It was an intense moto,
especially with the points race still so tight heading to Walton. |

JSR got a great start in the second MX1 moto and pulled a big
lead on Klatt. JSR set a fast pace and rode smart while Klatt looked
like he was thinking championship and seemed to be settling for
second. |

Blair Morgan and John Dowd battled all day. In the first MX1 moto, they were this tight right to the finish line. Morgan made the pass on Dowd and was pulling away, before the JYD caught back up to Morgan and put the pressure on right to the checkers. |

It was great to see Mike Treadwell back in Canada but the day didn't go too well for him. Treadwell crashed on the start of the first moto and nearly had the race red flagged as he looked for part of his finger. Turns out, nothing was 'missing' just damaged. |

Kyle
Beaton's second moto crash left him with an injured thumb. He got a
good start both motos but didn't end up with the results he was looking for
in the East. Beaton has the speed to be a front runner if he can put it
all together. |

Famed Canadian mechanic JP Savard was back for the weekend, wrenching for BC's Brock Hoyer on the Morgan Racing team. |
