Beaton: Kyle Beaton finally gave the show of speed he's capable of. He finished 4-21 after leading both motos, even picking up the holeshot in the first moto. While it wasn't the day Beaton was hoping for, he showed that he has the raw speed to run with the best in the MX2 West. |

After wowing everyone at the Nanaimo round, Andrew Belin was back to turning heads in Regina. The BC privateer went 9-8 for 8th overall, but ran in the top five in both motos. Imagine what he could do with more support and a healthy knee? |

Regina will go down as one the best nationals this year. Great crowd, great track, great club and great racing. |

Richmond Kawasaki's Colton Facciotti dedicated his podium finish to Billy Whitley's injured son, Hunter. Facciotti has been getting stronger and stronger every time he hits the track. He made up for his 18th place first moto (crashed and had difficulty restarting his bike) with a third in the second moto, where he kept JSR in sight all race. |

It was awesome to see Suzuki OTSFF's Gavin Gracyk back in the mix and on the podium. Gracyk got a good start in the first MX1 moto and battled with JSR for several laps, hanging on for third and his first podium finish of the series. |

Dusty Klatt extended his winning streak to eight motos in Regina. After falling while leading the opening lap of the first moto, Klatt worked his way back up, passed JSR and built a nice lead at the checkers. Second moto, he checked out and rode a perfect wire-to-wire race. Klatt now has a 31 point lead in the series--his rookie full-time year in the MX1 class. |

Richmond Racing Kawasaki's Darcy Lange saw his season come to an abrupt end in the first turn of the second moto. Lange tangled with Suzuki's Keith Johnson and suffered a broken bone in his thumb. It will be a big loss to the series, as Canadians were enjoying seeing Lange back on the 450 here at home. |

After holding off Jimmy Nelson for the win in the first moto (and breaking Nelson's win streak), Maier found some bad luck in the second moto and finished ninth. He still hung on for third overall for the day and is now tied for second place in the series with teammate Gray Davenport. |

Despite some nagging stomach problems, Blair Morgan toughed it out in the first moto for his hometown fans and finished sixth. After pounding the pedialyte all day, Morgan decided he couldn't line up for moto two. The Moto Valley fans were pumped to see him in action for the first moto though. |

Reigning MX2 East champ, Michael Willard, is showing that he's got speed on the 450 too. He holeshot the first MX1 moto and went on to finish 4-4 for third overall. |
