The Regina Club pulled off the miracle we were all hoping for Friday afternoon. Despite the heat and high winds, the track that met riders Saturday morning was much more encouraging. Qualifying action was great with Klatt and Roy taking the MX1 wins and Teddy Maier and Jeff Northrop winning the MX2 qualifiers. With (surprise, surprise) more heat and wind lined up for Sunday, here's hoping the Regina Club is manning the hoses again tonight. We'll do our best to keep you up to date on Round 5 at Moto Valley Raceway tomorrow. Here's a quick look at how Saturday's racing went. |

JSR holeshot his qualifier and went on to post the fastest lap for the day. He had to keep his pace up though as Richmond Racing Kawasaki's Colton Facciotti was riding strong and was never far behind. Facciotti's lap times were just over a tenth of a second off Roy's. |

Attack: Klatt got a good jump and came into the first turn out front. He made an unreal save, almost sliding out with the entire pack on his heels. He went on to win his qualifier by a huge margin. |

Marco Dube looked strong. He got a great start in his qualifier, held off Facciotti in the early laps and went on to finish third. |

Suzuki's Gavin Gracyk put in one of his strongest rides of the season so far, finishing second to Klatt and holding off Simon Homans and Michael Willard. |

Facciotti is getting stronger every weekend. He looks fast and confident in Regina, after finishing second to Roy in his qualifier. |

Everyone from Blair's parents to his kids to his dog, D-For, (get it D-For Dog) were there to cheer him on during Saturday's qualifiers. With even more fans lining the fence for him on Sunday, Morgan will be hoping to put his Blackfoot Honda on the podium again. |

First, second third: Jeff Northrop, Eric Nye and Gray Davenport round the first turn in the second MX2 qualifier. Northrop won the qualifier with Nye in second and Davenport in third. |

Teddy Maier got out front early and ran away with his qualifier ahead of Jimmy Nelson and Michael Sleeter. |

Jimmy Nelson and Michael Sleeter battle it out in their qualifier. After a crash with Kyle Beaton on the first lap left him dead last, Nelson fought his way through the pack, passing Sleeter for second place. |

OTSFF's Jeff Northrop put in his strongest ride yet this season, winning his MX2 qualfier easily. |
