About Podium Grafix:
A long time motocross enthusiast—and former racer, Gord Gilliatt began dipping into the MX decal market two years ago with his company Podium Grafix. Located in Peterborough, Ontario, just two hours northeast of Toronto, Gilliatt has really put a push on this season with his decals and his jersey lettering. Early in the spring, Gilliatt got on board with Kyle Keast and has been keeping his CRF450R and CRF250R looking the coolest at the provincials and nationals. (If you were at the Ste-Julie round you may have noticed Keast ran the fleur de lis on his rad shrouds and at Gopher Dunes he had a gopher added into the shrouds.)
The Products:
Podium Grafix prints the heat-transfers in-house, and transfers them onto the jersey using a commercial heat press. The biggest feature of Podium’s jersey lettering is that they can do all types of colours, blends and fades—it’s not just the typical black and white.
Washing instructions:
Be sure to turn the jersey inside out when washing and do not use bleach or harsh detergent. Use cold or lukewarm water and do not use hot temperature to dry. Either hang up the jersey or set the dryer on the cool setting. If the jersey needs to ironed, keep it away from the transferred image.
Cost:
For the first jersey, it is $59.99 and $40 for each additional jersey that is exactly the same to create. Podium does give the option of building the heat transfer and will send it to the customer with instructions for $54.99, but you cannot use an iron to apply the heat transfer, so you will have to visit your local apparel shop.
Shipment:
The customer can send their jerseys to Podium Grafix, they will decorate it and send it back for $5 regular post or $15 using UPS.

Podium can also add sponsors logos to jerseys. There is a one-time setup fee of $25 for each logo and then $5 to create and transfer each logo. And if you wear a chest protector, Podium can build decals and plates for most popular chest protectors, which cost $39.99 or $69.99 including the plate, plus there is a $15 shipping charge.
Track tested:
As you can tell by the photos, Podium’s jersey lettering is top notch. Not only is it stylish and blends in well with the colours and styles on each jersey, but it’s also very durable. I have been riding and racing with both lettered jerseys for over a month, washing them after each ride (following Gord’s instructions) and I have yet to see any wear, peeling or discolouration.
