Mitch Cooke Riding School

It sure is nice to have so many riding schools accessible to riders these days. In almost every province, riders can find a school taught by a reputable pro rider. Mitch Cooke and Adam Turner held a motocross school at the Clyde River motocross track last Friday. The sandy track was in perfect condition and the class was packed! Here are a few photos from the school. Keep watching this site for details on future MX schools.

Mitch provides a group lesson on a particular section of the track. He then watched each rider do the corner and provided guidance.

Elbows up!

Adam Turner (middle) also helped out with the class.

Cooke looks fit and definitely dropped a few pounds while training in Georgia.

Jean-Francois Trottier's son Philippe, took the school and raced
the next day as well.

I even unchained myself from the desk long enough to take the class! I started racing in 1982 and I've never taken a class so it was fun and worthwhile. This photo (by JF, of course) has already landed me on Blackfoot's alternate rider list. Dean won't tell me how far down the list I am and which list I'm on but he assures me that I'm on a list of some kind...
