Sunline/SixSixOne Photo Report from Houston

Photo Update from Round 13 of the Amp'd Mobile AMA Supercross Series
in Houston, Texas.

James Stewart has now won three in a row. He gapped the field early in the main event and Ricky Carmichael was not able make a dent in his lead. Stewart has not lost a Heat race this year.

Ricky Carmichael still leads the AMA Supercross series but James Stewart has now tied RC in the World Supercross series.

Doug DeHaan made another main event with a 5th place finish in his Semi. He placed 18th in the main.

Davi Millsaps is the 2006 Eastern Lites Champion. Josh Grant had a mathematical chance at the title heading into Houston but an early crash by Grant left him with a DNF. Millsaps will race the SX class for the balance of the season.

Dusty Klatt didn't end the series with a bang like all Canadians were hoping. Still, he showed a lot of speed in the last few rounds and leaves the series healthy so he can focus on his CRF450 and the MX1 class in Canada.

Josh Grant DNFd in Houston and essentially gave 2nd overall in the series to Chris Gosselaar.

Tommy Hahn finished fourth overall in the series and second overall in Houston. Klatt was able to match Hahn's pace in a few races so that shows what Klatt may be capable of next year now that he has some supercross experience under his belt.
