Kris Keefer, who is now a test rider for Yamaha USA, just contacted the office to give us an update from the high desert of California. Canada’s MX2 East Champ, Michael Willard, has been staying with Keefer for the past two weeks.

Kris says that he and Michael have been training hard and putting in “miles and miles on our road bikes.”

Michael is preparing for the Eastern SX Lites series and Kris is preparing to contest some events in the Supercross class.

“Michael and I work together well and he is getting faster everyday down here,” said Kris. “Everyone should see an even faster and stronger Willard come this summer! Hopefully I will be back up there riding MX1 for a Yamaha team this summer also. Tell everyone we said hello and we will see you soon!”
