- press release -
The Royal Distributing Pro Xtreme Team traveled down to Malone, NY for a Rock Maple Racing Series event this past weekend to race against Pro and Semi Pro Riders from USA and Canada as a tune-up to the upcoming CSRA national series.
The boys took home just about every piece of hardware they could, with Semi-Pro rider #202 Joey Sagan winning the Semi-Pro Open, Semi-Pro 600, AND the Semi-Pro 440 Classes. It was the second time Joey has won every final in a weekend in the USA this year. Two weeks ago Joey won every final at the WPSA event at the Otsego County Fairgrounds in Michigan. (Iain did not attend Otsego and used the weekend for practice and prep).
Pro Rider #93 Iain Hayden also had a near perfect weekend, winning both the Pro-Open and Pro-Stock finals. The only blemish on the weekend was a broken suspension piece while leading in the Woody's Challenge Race, so we missed out on the big money being offered by Woody's to win this shootout. This coming weekend the boys are off to Eagle River Wisconsin, to compete in the very prestigious Eagle River Derby. http://www.derbytrack.com/www/derbytrack/
Next weekend the CSRA National Snowcross Series Starts in Owen Sound, On, the team is very excited and the anticipation is building!
