CMRC Ladies join Pro National tour!

CMRC is proud to announce the addition of the CMRC Women's National Motocross Championships to the 2006 Canadian Motocross Championship series.

The CMRC Women's National Motocross Championships will be a two-part, Eastern and Western Championship Series, consisting of two rounds per series. The Women's National Series will join the Pro National tour at four of the nine rounds this summer. The eastern portion of the series will kick-off in Ste-Julie, Quebec, May28th and Gopher Dunes in Courtland, Ontario, June 4th, while the western portion will be showcasing the Ladies' talent in Nanaimo, BC, June 18th, and Calgary, Alberta, June 25th.

Over the past few years, women's racing in North America has reached new levels with increased entries, rider participation and industry recognition. CMRC recognizes the addition of the women's national class to the tour will be a chance to allow female riders such as Canadians Heidi Cooke, Jolene Van Vugt and Jessica Foster the opportunity to demonstrate their talent in the national spotlight, as well as help advance the sport and participation even further.

The National series will be open to all Ladies with a CMRC membership. More details will follow.
