After Toronto's epic battle between James Stewart and Ricky Carmichael, Vancouver's Supercross main was a bit of a sleeper in comparison. There is nothing dull about watching James Stewart ride right now though. Stewart has put together the pieces of the puzzle that eluded him last season. Carmichael got a lousy start and found himself caught up in some first turn chaos. He worked his way through the pack, past Reed and into second place quickly, but could not catch Stewart, who rode a smart race alone for the win. In the Lites class, Nathan Ramsey repeated his '04 Vancouver win, beating out Davi Millsaps and Billy Laninovich. Ramsey, who's father-in-law is Canadian, was pumped to win another race in the great white north. The Canadian contingent had to be proud of Darcy Lange's performance in the Lites class. Lange was in third off the start and held off Andrew Short for a few laps before settling in to finish sixth. Lange was running a solid pace for the entire main. With a few weeks left until A1, Lange now knows where he's at, and what he needs to do to be in contention in the West.

"It's a little early to be giving out the trophy yet," said RC in the
post-race press conference. There are 15 races left in the series.

He finished sixth in the Supercross main.

Darcy Lange had a great start and was battling for a podium spot
early in the Lites main. Lange had the top Canadian finish with
a sixth place behind Andrew Short.

Blackfoot's duo of Mitch Cooke and Dusty Klatt finished 11th
and 12th
in the Lites main. Still recovering from his Toronto
shoulder injury, Klatt
struggled in the whoops (usually his strong
point) but got more comfortable
as the weekend wore on.

Colton Facciotti showed some good speed in his heat and the main,
but a crash in the Lites main saw him come from last place to 14th.
