Ready for round two of the Carmichael, Stewart, Reed showdown? Round two of the Amp'd Mobile World Supercross Series could be one of the best races ever. Don't miss it!
In addition to the top three riders from Toronto, David Vuillemin enters the mix for Vancouver on his BooKoo Honda CR250. It will be the debut race for Vuillemin on his CR250. However, the highlight for Canadians may be the number of Canadians entered for the Lites class this weekend. British Columbia's Darcy Lange, Colton Facciotti, Kyle Beaton and Brady Sheren will all line up. Lange, the two-time U.S. Arenacross Champion, just secured the Canadian Arenacross title and is gearing up for the 125 West Supercross series with him teammates Teddy Maier, Donnie McGourty and Kyle Chisholm. Colton Facciotti has been on fire all winter and is coming off an impressive race last weekend in Cardiff. Beaton has also shown speed and maturity all winter and Sheren finished an impressive seventh overall last weekend in Toronto.
Ryan Lockhart was planning to stay home in Nova Scotia this weekend but Steve Anderson (his son won the KTM 50 race at Toronto last year) used some connections and flew Ryan and his bike out to Vancouver! Don’t you love the moto community? And a race in Canada without Ryan Lockhart just doesn’t pack the same punch anyway.
Dusty Klatt’s supercross debut didn’t go too well last weekend when he hit the concrete early in practice. He was checked out by a specialist in Calgary this week and has a shoulder separation. Blackfoot says that they will hold off on a decision to ride Vancouver but “it is looking good.” Mitch Cooke was back in Georgia this week training so he will be more than ready for Vancouver.
If you don’t have tickets yet, check the links below for discount coupons. If you can’t make the race, check the links below to listen to the webcast and make sure you tune into SPEED on Sunday. By the way, Toronto re-airs on Saturday night at 6 PM EST.

There are definitely some rocks in the Vancouver dirt but "it's the best BC dirt in 20 years" according to our guest photographer Darren Pilling. |
