DECEMBER 2, 2005
With the anticipation for Saturday's Toronto SX soaring, it occurred to us that maybe the appropriate name for this weekend's race is actually Eh One. While Supercross fans usually have to wait until the traditional southern version of A1, Canada is the first chance to see the supercross battles that will shape the series this year. After Toronto fans were dazzled by the show last year, World Supercross is back and bigger than ever. Thursday's press conference was the first sign that all the heavyweights are in town. With Ricky Carmichael, Chad Reed, Ivan Tedesco and Heath Voss chatting with the local media...(hey even Canada's National Post and the Toronto Sun were in the house) and a string of top riders...like James Stewart still arriving...Saturday's race is going to be unreal. For Canadian fans, the story gets even more interesting. Not only do we get to see a race on par with every US Supercross, we get to see our own Canadian riders in the mix with the best in the world. From Dusty Klatt, Mitchell Cooke, Ryan Lockhart, Marco Dube, Kyle Keast, Jay Burke, Joseph Rose, Kyle Snelgrove and Kevin Tyler right on down to Ricky Beaton in the KTM Junior SX Challenge, the Canadians are going to be part of the show.

RC is ready. He opted out of the post-press conference ride."
"We all come here prepared and you build off it," said Chad Reed."We wouldn't
be here if we didn't believe we could win." Reed also hinted about his hopes that
a future World SX Round would be scheduled in Australia. Current title sponsor
Amp'd Mobile has ties to Chad's home country.
Yamaha's Heath Voss is clearly pumped to be back in action.
"I just love to race," said Voss. Voss also won the Canadian press over
by admitting he loves to play hockey. "I know how important hockey is to all
of you up here," joked Voss.
Ivan Tedesco will make his Supercross debut in Toronto.
Tedesco says he's eager to see where he stands in the big bike class.

RXC assistant editor Danny Brault shows off an RC
autographed copy of the lastest issue. Stop by our booth
at the bike show or right at the race to check out the magazine,
the new RXC clothing or just to get a mitt full of stickers and say hi.
