Rounds 7 and 8 of the Thor Parts Canada Arenacross series comes to you from the home of Future West Arenacross, the Heritage Park Center in Chilliwack BC. The adjoining buildings provide a larger track surface than a typical arenacross track and the Future West crew used that to construct their largest and most technical track yet. |

With a click of his heels, Brady Sheren kicks off practice as he throws a good old "Heel Clicker" through the rhythm section. Bad luck in the mains would relegate him to a best finish of fifth in the AX2 main. Look for Brady to bounce back on Saturday night and run with the frontrunners. |

He's back! After missing last weekend's round in Calgary with a hand injury, Kyle Beaton came roaring back to win both mains in convincing style. The soft dirt and technical terrain suited his signature wide open style well and he led both mains from start to finish. Here he leads the AX2 pack on the first lap. Look at the lead he has already opened up! |

Darcy Lange gets the jump on his qualifier. A rare off night for The Champ would leave him with a best finish of second in the AX2 main. To make matters worse, while giving chase to Kyle Beaton in the AX Open main, his engine would drop a valve, ending his night. You don't win two AMA arenacross championships on luck so look for Lange to come out swinging tonight. |

Ryan Lockhart came away with a pair of third place finishes for the night. The only rider to ride a 250cc two-stroke in the Open main, he acually found it to be a disadvantage as he had traction problems in the soft, loose dirt. This weekend will be Ryan's last Canadian Arenacross as he is making the trek next weekend to Denver, Colorado to try his hand at a round of the BooKoo Arenacross series. |

Kris Foster recovered from a crash and the following broken fender in the AX2 main to bounce back and finish fourth in the Open main. The up-and-coming BC native placed well two weeks ago at the West Coast Arenacross held in the same building and is now bringing his new found speed to the national stage. Look for big things from Kris, especially indoors. |

Colton Facciotti didn't quite have the night he had last weekend in Calgary but he still finished with a fourth in AX2 and a second in AX Open. With Darcy DNFing the Open main and Marco Dube skipping the weekend to race Bercy, it looks like young Colt may have the championship locked up. |

The AX Open podium. With Kyle back up to speed and both Lockhart and Facciotti looking to move up a spot or two on the podium (not to mention Lange who will be fired up after his DNF) tonight's racing is looking to be even better than last night's. If you're anywhere in the Greater Vancouver area, make sure you make it out to the Heritage Park in Chilliwack tonight to see some epic bar banging action. |
