California's Kris Keefer, who raced for KTM Canada in the MX2 West series this year, is now doing some in-house testing for Yamaha. Lucky guy! We may see him back in Canada as early as the Vancouver round of the World Supercross if he and teammate Casey Johnson can get their ride sorted out in time. Please see his update below:

Just wanted to keep you up to date on what is going on with me here in good 'ol USA!! Casey Johnson and myself are putting a Yamaha team together for the 2006 Supercross series. Most likely Casey will ride the 250 class and I will ride 125 West. I am looking forward to riding SX again and with all of the riding I have been doing here at Yamaha, it is only going to get me better for the upcoming season!

I have been with Yamaha R&D since my last west coast race up in Canada. It is a great job riding motorcycles and getting paid for it! I really enjoyed my stay in Canada this last summer and hopefully I can make it back there on a Yamaha this next year! You have great riders up there and I look forward to more competition next season! Thanks and tell everyone Hi!!!
