After four rounds of the Thor Parts Canada Canadian Arenacross Championship the series is set to resume this weekend in Calgary. OTSFF Suzuki star rider, Nova Scotia's Ryan Lockhart fresh off an amazing performance this past weekend at the Future West West Coast Arenacross Championship in Chilliwack, British Columbia looks set to challenge Canadian Arenacross Championship points leaders Darcy Lange and Marco Dube. Lockhart who was set to be on the sidelines after what looked to be a nasty knee injury in Toronto bounced back a week later claiming the AX2 final on night 1 in Winnipeg. Lockhart also split wins with Kawasaki young gun Colton Facciotti in West Coast action beating US up and coming riders Dylan Lord and Denis Jonon this past weekend.

US #1 Darcy Lange of Courtney, B.C. has steadily been building momentum getting back in to race shape after an 8-month layoff. Since Toronto, Darcy has shown a glimpse of just why he has the US number one plate on the front of his Richmond Racing Kawasaki. Lange claimed two wins in Winnipeg back on October 14th and 15th at the MTS Centre and with 2 weeks of testing in sunny California will be on form.

Lange's Kawasaki teammate 17 year old Colton Facciotti looked set to continue his on track battles with Lange on night two in Winnipeg but suffered a bruised lung and kidney in one of his qualifiers which put him out the rest of the night. Colton rebounded two weeks ago with a win at the 9th annual Future West British Supercross Championship event in Sheffield, England and again put in a solid performance back at home in Chilliwack last weekend. Look for Colt to jump into the point's title race this weekend.

KTM Canada Veteran Marco Dube, current AX2 point's leader who also made the trip to the UK for the Future West British Supercross will look to continue his consistent form heading into Calgary. Marco sits 38 points clear of Lange who sit 10 points ahead of Facciotti in the AX2 class. In the AX Open class Lange holds a comfortable 34-point lead over Facciotti who did not ride the pro final on night two in Winnipeg.

With plenty of bar banging action so far this year, the Calgary event is sure to provide some awesome race action from all classes kids to pro.

The Calgary event is promoted and produced by Craig McMorren Productions and is part of the Future West Thor Parts Canada CMRC Canadian Arenacross Championship. Points from this event will carry over to the Alberta Dirt Riders Alberta Arenacross Championships.
