Steve Matthes tells us that Jeff Alessi and Jimmy Albertson had a tryout for a vacant spot on the Red Bull Honda factory team. It is possible that one or both will be racing for the team as early as Washougal.

Steve Matthes has spoken with Hooters/Moto XXX/Tamer team manager Allan Brown and Brown confirmed that Jeff Alessi will be racing for the Moto XXX team this weekend in Washougal.

Jimmy Albertson to race Washougal for North Racing
North Racing’s #702 Honda rider Jimmy Albertson will compete at Washougal on his Factory Connection supported CRF450.
While North Racing will not be present at Washougal, NRi owner David Brigg’s has made flight arrangements for Jimmy and his mechanic to attend the race. David realizes the importance for Jimmy to attend every national round to the end of the series.
Briggs is well aware he could lose his racer to Factory Honda by lending the extra support, but he feels there is no greater reward than to know he helped Jimmy make it to the factory level.
