News from Round #1 of the CMRC Supermoto Nationals
The first round of the CMRC Supermoto Nationals had it’s ups and downs. The event was scheduled for practice on saturday and racing sunday. Saturdays practice was a hit with nice weather and a specatator attendance of 3,000 people! Unfortunately the skies opened up that night and heavy rains deemed the track “not safe” for racing.
“It was a shame - says Suzuki’s Peter Marcelli. The event had all the potential to be great. I mean I’ve never seen 3000 people show up to watch practice!” Marcelli’s pace was was good enough to be in the top 3 this weekend.
Don’t miss the 5th annual Supermoto National in Beautiful Parry Sound, Ontario July 5-6th. The course will be set up at Parry Sounds beautiful waterfront and will be in conjuction with the Sport Bike Rally.
