After racing 11 rounds of AMA supercross as well as the two world supercross rounds last year, Springhill Nova Scotia’s Ryan Lockhart has been missing from the elite series in the world….but, he is about to make his return.
Three weeks of practice after months of living and racing in Europe has Lockhart as prepared as he is going to be as he lines up for the Daytona Supercross this Friday March 9 2007. Number 264 will again be lining up against the best in the world in the supercross class. This year should be better than last as he actually has his mechanic Kyle Patten with him and his bike is prepped and ready to go. With the new system of qualifying based on practice times, Lockhart should easily be able to make it into the night program. Last year he was thirty second fastest in practice and finished as high as 9th place in a heat race. The race will be aired on SpeedTV on Friday starting at 9:30 PM eastern. Tune in to see if NEWF has found enough speed to make it into the main event.
